Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is an eco-friendly approach to controlling pests by combining biological, cultural, physical, and chemical methods to minimize harm to humans and the environment. This course emphasizes prevention, monitoring, and targeted interventions to reduce pesticide use while maintaining effective pest control.
Harbers Greenhouses and Forestry is a family-owned and operated wholesale native plant and tree nursery. Over time, it has expanded to supply high-quality trees, shrubs, grasses, and wildflowers to a diverse clientele, including conservation authorities, foresters, landscapers, landowners, and garden centres.
The nursery offers a wide variety of seedlings, saplings, air-pruned plugs, and potted trees. They also provide custom installation of bare-root and spaded trees in select Eastern Ontario regions. Additionally, Harbers Greenhouses and Forestry offers design and consultation services to homeowners, conservation authorities, land developers, municipalities, nurseries, and garden centres.
Eastern Ontario Agri-Food Network (EOAN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to coordinating the development of the agri-food sector in Eastern Ontario and fostering dialogue between its members and partners.
The EOAN operates in Prescott-Russell, Stormont Dundas & Glengarry, Cornwall, and the Ontario portion of Akwesasne.
